Rome 2 is on Steam atm for £7.49, I'm pondering whether to go for it. Now that people have had a chance to give it a solid run through, should I bother? I'm worried about system spec mainly, I'm on:
The only part of your system specs that might give you trouble is your video card which is about 150 MB less than the recommended specs. Other than that and outside huge battles (two full stacks against each other with reinforcements on both sides), I think you'd have a solid Rome 2 experience. I'd stay away from any graphics mods like GEM or Aztec's Lighting though.
That being said, even if your current system is unable to play Rome 2 at your ideal graphics setting it still might be a good idea to buy it so that it'll be waiting for in your library when/if you upgrade your PC in the future. Can't really beat or feel ripped off with a 75% off deal

A bit late, but it's worth it at any sub 15 quid price. If your rig does particularly well then it looks just fantastic.
