Topic Subject: Prologue - what does it cover?

I was playing the prologue and thinking "oh that was a bit short" when looking up and finding myself back at the main menu. It was just after the defensive battle against the Samnites.

Being a bit dozy I started a new main campaign game as trying to resume the campaign put me at the start of the Samnite battle again. Can I just check, before replaying the prologue up to that point again, that it had just had an error and there is more prologue to play - does it cover politics and the food system etc?

There's certainly a lot more than just the initial battle. Though one your about 10 turns in you might be better off going for the main campaign and learning that way instead.

I agree with EoJ, the best way to learn about the new features is to play main campaign. You've probably already started one, but the factions I suggest playing in order to learn about the game Rome and the Iceni.

Rome will let you easily field strong armies capable of beating just about anything the AI can throw at you as you get a hang for the game, while the Iceni are perfectly positioned to stay out of (well, most of) the chaos so that you can conquer, expand and research to your hearts content without drawing the attention of any of the major factions like the Seleucids, Egypt, Rome or Carthage.
