The Creative Assembly have released a new video on Youtube where they talk about and showcase some of the new Hannibal at the Gates DLC for Total War: Rome II. Also, keep your eyes open for a new episode of Rally Point next week with details about the planned free roster update for Carthage.

I'd be more inclined to get this rather than CIG. HAG looks like it contains more depth and breadth, and seems less scripted.

I concur, although I did not find CiG that scripted personally. Unless you are really in to the different Barbarian tribes and Caesar's wars in Gaul however, CiG can feel like a poorer Shogun 2 (due to fighting just one type of "culture" again) since I did not find CiG anywhere near as rich in either a cinematic or narrative sense as Shogun 2 or the standards I feel CiG could have reached.

Not to mention 'realm divide' mechanic makes absolutely no sense for the Averni in my opinion if you decide to unite Gaul through diplomacy and a confederation of the tribes rather than aggressively via the military route.

Wait, there was Realm Divide in CiG?

I am the Carthaginian who became an angel, and surrendered his wings for a life on the sea of battle.

My magic screen is constantly bombarded with nubile young things eager to please these old eyes. This truly is a wonderful period in which to exist! - Terikel the Deflowerer
