After a stint in the BETA process Creative Assembly have cried havoc and let loose the Patch 9. The newly released patch promises further bug fixes, performance improvements, better Crossfire and SLI support, and the fixing of several game exploits. The patch's tranisition from BETA to Retail however did not save one, or more, Creative Assembly employees from being trapped in the patch notes as a sacrafice to the Goddess Juno.

For a complete transcription of the patch's benefits and improvements seek out your answers here.

Reduction in melee attack for Roman melee infantry units.
This does not bode well for my Roman campaign.
A small global penalty for the player in autoresolved battles
Didn't the player already have terrible odds when auto-resolving? There have been so many times when the auto-resolver said I had no chance of winning, but I fought manually on the battle map and won easily.

StormComing (to me): "Seems like you're way under-ranked"

Certainly feels that way, 'cause heaven forbid players auto-resolve any of their battles.
