Here's an interestingvideo I found about unit width. I'm curious what factions/units benefit from having their individual units spread out wider?

Pretty much every faction benefits from wider ranks so they will not be flanked. However, when you see those elephants and chariots charging at you, you better make your ranks as deep as possible, and pray. Someone in CA had managed to turn elephants into battle tanks and chariots into wrecking balls, in patch 7.

I know I am chuffed that Chariots are back to being more viable for their cost. Wish the developers responsible at Creative Assembly would stop changing the balance meta-game with such large swings however. Though Update 7 was a pretty comprehensive update so I guess it was bound to happen.
